Yes, it's certainly looking conclusive. Thank god someone else has found
it, and with a modem that may actually be available for further tests,
instead of us having to do all the trailblazing ourselves.

What do you mean it's faster? You're getting throughput of about 100%
instead of 108-115%.

It seems pretty academic now, but I still don't see how you draw this
conclusion. The code that is in error could be AFTER the decision to make
the light flash or not. I've seen enough bugs in my life to know that
ANYTHING is LIKELY.
BTW, I still think that this bug in the Spirit's V42 ROM code has
absolutely nothing to do with the Earthing problem, as I'm sure you'll see
in the response to the question I asked of Dave Hatch in the Spirit echo.

P.S. The reason I didn't get any information from Meng Shi-Lim or whoever
