It was the C&O 614. It ran some excursions from Hoboken, NJ to Port
Jervis, NY. There's some photos in the July issue of Railpace. The
614 will be running again October 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 & 19.
I first heard of these excursions after they were over with last year.
This year I made a point not to miss it! Until I heard about it I
didn't know big steam made it to this part of the country anymore.
