MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.02
 
      Title: Banana Lemon Bread
 Categories: Breads
      Yield: 24 servings
 
      2    Banana
    1/4 c  Margarine
      2 c  All-purpose flour
      1 ts Baking powder
    1/2 ts Baking soda
    1/2 ts Salt
      1    Egg
    1/4 c  Sugar
      1 tb Lemon peel
MMMMM------------------------LEMON SYRUP-----------------------------
    1/3 c  Lemon juice
    1/3 c  Sugar
 
  1.  Puree bananas in blender (1 cup).  Combine with margarine. 2.
  Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt. 3. Beat egg, sugar and
  lemon peel. Beat in banana mixture.  Beat in flour mixture. 4. Turn
  batter into 9 x 5-inch loaf pan coated with vegetable spray. Bake in
  350 degree oven 35 minutes.  Cool in pan.  Poke holes in bread with
  skewer. Pour syrup over top.  Let stand 10 minutes.  Remove from pan.
  
  Serves 24, 12 slices cut in half.
