On Monday November 14 1994, Ken Kavanagh writes to All: Hello Ken! KK> I think i need some clairification on semaphores after having read many a KK> book/manual on them all day. when a thread creates a semaphore, do other KK> threads in that same program do a dosOpeneventSem? or do I pass the opened KK> sem handle around for everyone to use? to answer myself, I have learned from someone on internet relay chat, all threads within a process must either be passed the handle to a semaphore, or have the handle global. DosOpenEventSem is only used in other processes. Now I can get into the meat and potatoes of the program!
