I find the opposite true! Especially with my ADHD child...I try to get as 
uch
of the "bookwork" done as possible first thing before they are distracted. 
Once
distractions hit, it's that much harder to get them back into it.
Afternoons are for the less formal lessons like art, music, social studies,
ect.
