Hi Don,

The basic e.exe system editor has no frills - but you can specify what 
font you want to have it use - I use 10 pt system VIO font, which is 
fixed width [non-proportional], and ISTR that the original font as 
default was System Proportional - but you can use any font available on 
your system - including Courier etc., so it looks like a typewriter! 
Once you set the font it always uses it until you change it again!
