Sorry if you posted this but if you did I didn't see it.
Did you attempt to open the file on the cd while your command prompt was
in a directory on the harddrive (i.e. qedit Q:\path\filename.ext)? From
some of the other posts I tend to think it won't work but I think that
would show it isn't a temp file issue.
I think you said you use a macro for selecting and copying the text.
Can you try this without the macro and see if there is something with
the macro that is failing?
