Thanks Simon for your msg about WinCreateDlg, on 02 11-02-1994 You should read my article in the July/August OS/2 Developer. I go into detail about how to decipher the dialog template. But, I think there is an easier way to go about it. Just create the one dialog with nothing in the window text. Just create a function to load the desired version, either by passing the text or an enumerated value that it uses to load up the correct text. Then set the window text after the dialog is loaded. You just do WinLoadDlg() to load the dialog (but not execute it), which will give you the dialog handle. Get the handle of the control you want to set and set the window text. Then call WinProcessDlg() to process the dialog and return its return to the caller. Be sure to call WinDestroyWindow() on the dialog handle because WinProcessDlg() does not destroy the dialog, just hides it (which is good because you still have access to all of the child controls in order to query them.) Anyway this lets the calling code set up and cleanup slightly differently without putting all the code into the dialog.
