Before I was using the factory defaults. On your last call I had added:
S0=0, S9=6, S10=14, *M2, *Q0, *G0, &B2, &R0, S20=0
Any further suggestions that might help with the connections? The stats I
get from the file transfer under Binkley aren't crude, they're
non-existant. But we shouldn't be getting Zmodem errors when using error
correction, right? Admittedly you didn't call with error correction last
time. But in future, Zmodem errors should not occur. I am thinking that
maybe OS/2 isn't sending data fast enough. Are you getting timeouts or
CRCs? Perhaps the multitasker switches to another task for a while? In
these last couple of transfers I was editting a file (using emacs OS/2
version) in the background. Can't see how that would hurt though. There
are still a few options left. I can increase my speed to 38400, and I can
replace COM.SYS with SIO.SYS. You'll have to be patient on this one, as
it's out of my hands. I've never had problems like these before, and now
I'm up to my armpits in them! BFN.
