I'd "back-out" whatever it is that you have recently installed. I suspect
you've got two products using a DLL with the same name and VPC is picking up
the wrong one.

I can't see this being a hardware problem, therefore I suggest you post this
problem on the VPC support forum at www.innotek.de.
