because they are illegal and once they show up on the registers, they can be
sent back when the political tide changes.

Immigrants want to improve.  Illegals can't improve and have to stay "under the
covers" for fear of deportation.

We need to make sure that we don't conflate immigrants (who are here legally)
with illegal aliens (who are foreign invaders).  They are 2 very different
groups with very different goals and pressures on them.
