I've had a fiddle too. OS/2 is by far more flexible and usable than
either form of Windows for BBS systems. Perhaps that may change, when
Win32 BBS packages become more common (there are a few though). For DOS
based sysops looking for something better, OS/2 is the way to go.
I tried Win3.11, when I needed more networking capabilities than DOS,
but various parts of the system wouldn't run. OS/2 runs everything at
least as well as DOS, and offers extra features as well (e.g. easier
Internet integration).
... When there's a will, I want to be in it.
