Ovations play really nice and they have fantastic necks, but the sound is 
lacking in the bass department.  If you want a guitar to "sing along with", 
you might want to select another brand.  Try them all at the store, you'll 
soon find that any all wood guitar will have much more bass and a fuller 
sound than any Ovation.  I have three acoustics, one being an Ovation.  The 
Ovation is the nicest to play (real easy) but it also sounds the worst.
