Hi! Michael, On 03 Dec 07 13:35, you wrote to me: PQ>> If it has the same date then it means you probably got it from PQ>> the same place (and archive) that I did: here, in this echo. :) MK> I think so. ;) Note: The 'new distribution' is daylighted in time. That's probably my fault. After I added the File_ID.Diz to the .zip, I adjusted the date (of the .zip) to the origin date of (one of) the original files and didn't adjust the time-of-day also. I was too lazy. Please forgive me. :) PQ>> So, theoretically, you could have 3 files called "Replace" in any PQ>> -one- directory but Replace.Com would get executed the first (and PQ>> only) time. If wanted one of the others, you need to enter the PQ>> full name: either Replace.Exe or Replace.Bat, to get them to PQ>> execute. MK> Theoretic. But did you write extensions on the command line? Me not. Not usually at the command-line. Sometimes I have included the full name in batch files I have written, as a means to fill out the file size to an even multiple of kilobytes... along with other techniques to increase the storage to match cluster size. (It used to be kind of important for me to match file size with the cluster size on an old backup PC.) Call me 'anal', in that regard. =:) Cheers, Paul. ...
