| subject: | Socket Services on Thinkpad R31 |
Hi, Has anyone on this list been able to get PCMCIA socket services to work on a Thinkpad R31 ? If so can you tell me which code you installed (filenames, size and dat if possible) and any "tricks" you used to get it working ? I've tried the latest IBM v8 socket services as well as Dani's and neither seem able to work. I can get them to load but they cannot see the Avaya Wireless gold card. The very same card instaled in a toshiba laptop using the same card driver and settings works with the Toshiba socket services, hence the problem is with socket services. I have also tried other PCMCIA and Cardbus cards without success. This is a dual-boot system and everything works under Win XP but not OS/2, so the hardware is OK. Thanks in advance Cheers/2 Ed. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor ---------------------~--> Buy Ink Cartridges or Refill Kits for your HP, Epson, Canon or Lexmark Printer at MyInks.com.
