 How big is your pleco? By 2 years Mine was appx 5-6 inchs long.
 Of course I kept it in a 60 gal and fed it tablets.
 Could be poor stock, caught some disease, or was starving.
 Got to suppliment a pleco with food, they cannot live on algae in a
 tank, in wild theres algae all over, just moves on as a areas cleaned
 up (ate up), not so in a tank.
