I have a script here on my system:

 rephdr.bz    980801    2k    4 Generate a header for the replies containing
                                the name of the author from the original
                                message, for BBBS v3.42 beta.

I don't know if you can use it (I don't), but it is availlable for download
here at my system. You may also find it at BCG-Box?
