I've seen poorer front of disk performance before with 0.9.4g, usually
on Maxtor ATA drives. The Sysbench author explained it then as a quirk
of the interplay between dish cache algorythm and the tests.

Those above are from the motherboard controller, VIA MVP3, far from an
ideal piece of hardware. Note that the simultaneous was better for the
Seagate on this controller than on the TX2.

Same two disks, same Sysbench, motherboard ATA100 (KT400):

 Simultaneous Disk I/O
   Disk 0-1: 78529 MB : 54.271 Megabytes/second
   Disk 1-2: 57239 MB : 39.165 Megabytes/second

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
   Total : 93.436 Simultaneous I/O-marks

 Disk I/O disk 0-1: 78529 MB - IC35L090AVV207-0
Avg. data access time : 12.100 milliseconds
   Cache/Bus xfer rate : 87.868 Megabytes/second
   Track 0 xfer rate fwd : 54.494 Megabytes/second
   Middle trk rate fwds. : 47.119 Megabytes/second
   Last track rate bwds. : 32.420 Megabytes/second
   Average Transfer rate : 44.678 Megabytes/second
Disk use CPU load : 4.490 percent

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
   Total : 258.614 Disk I/O-marks

 Disk I/O disk 1-2: 57239 MB - ST360021A
Avg. data access time : 14.500 milliseconds
   Cache/Bus xfer rate : 57.803 Megabytes/second
   Track 0 xfer rate fwd : 39.559 Megabytes/second
   Middle trk rate fwds. : 38.247 Megabytes/second
   Last track rate bwds. : 23.682 Megabytes/second
   Average Transfer rate : 33.829 Megabytes/second
Disk use CPU load : 3.940 percent

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
   Total : 196.357 Disk I/O-marks

Other controllers produced similar relationships between the performance
of these two disks, quite unlike that on the TX2.
