Is it just LORD that does it, or all of them? I remember I had the same issue
initially when I first started trying NetFoss, but damned if I can remember
what it was that did it. 

In LORD for your node config, set the COMPORT lock speeds at 38400, using
Regular Fossil. Sounds like a COMPORT issue to me. Give that a whack and lemme
know.
