My 1st attempted fix did that, but extremely small labels very close to the
LEDs get covered, too, which I don't want (besides, it looks ugly) but thanks
for the idea.

I hung a piece of "smoky" plastic over them, which I can lift up
to read the
labels on the panel as needed.  [:^)
