You repeatedly refuse to say where you heard this supposed rumor.
I have denied it.  I have also traced the company and the actual person who
¨placed this perfectly valid advertisement.  What more do you want before
you ¨apologise to me?

I know because the newspaper told me, and because I called him and discused
¨it with him.

The WA has not printed any apology, "grovelling" or otherwise.


In any case.  What exactly was wrong with the advert?  I have had a copy
¨faxed to me.  It seems perfectly straight forward.  I have checked with
¨AUSTEL and with Cheyanne Software.

AUSTEL told me that Askey Australia had to advertise the recall of their
¨suposedly Austel appproved modems, which were in fact not Austel approved.
They also had to write to all their dealers and advise them of the recall.

Cheyanne Software told me that Askey Australia had to recall all the
pirated ¨BitFax Pro software it could and replace it with legal versions of
BitWare
Lite.  They also had to destroy any remaining or returned copies of the
¨unlicensed BitFax Pro.  Further they were billed for the unlicenced
software. ¨(US$15 each I believe).
Above info from Cheyanne in the USA and from their recently opened
Australian ¨branch office.  I have copies of their faxes as well.

So, everything I have said now, and previously, is backed up by proof,
andcan ¨be checked by a few phone call and/or faxes.  While everything you
alledge is ¨just that - allegations - and rumor - without anything to back
them up.

I would like an apology.
