Hello Rod! Well done, you solved the V42 problem by pausing your end! The MR light was going for broke, then after 10 seconds or so there was nothing, then hey presto, beautiful transfer rates! Ditto when you tried with Maximus. I would be interested if the problem restarts after you have downloaded one file and then go and download another. BFN.
