he may be willing if he is presented with valid reasoning... the worst part
is changing it in each individual message area if there are a lot of them
to go through... of course, he could also adjust it in only a couple of
areas, too...

it isn't all that much work, really... changing a message base setting
isn't anything like creating ansi screens and menus and doing the flow
layout...

"waldo's place usa" is running remoteaccess... max's
"haven's terminus" is running synchronet... then there's t's
"tesoro's devil" and my "mystic dawn" both running on
mystic... in all four cases, we can edit the configs at any time and make
changes... some changes take effect immediately others require the bbs to
reload... reloading takes mere seconds... however, some operators do take
their bbses down while they work on them... it depends on the task at hand,
though...
