I didn't know some folks got their feathers up over this subject. I'm a
very causual visitor to this echo and I thought it was a fair question.

That's what I have lived with for the last 18 years. I understand the
bracing is different with port sided guitars. Also, the action can get
screwed up when you switch the string around. The fat E on my Ibanez
has a tendency to buz on me.
