When I returned the DVD burner the man at the counter told me
he had bought one too and had to return it as incompatible with
his system. :-\

Yes, I suspected it was a bit much but thought it would be cute
if I could make it work.

I took back the DVD burner and picked up a rather fast 52x32x52
CDRW burner instead. I can now burn a full 650meg CD in 4 1/2
minutes. :-)

Had some trouble with installing the version of NERO that was
bundled with the drive. I had HP RecordNow and HP DLA
installed. NERO refused to install InCD until I uninstalled
DLA. No problem for me but I somehow 'lost' the ".msi" file for
the uninstall and wound up having to hand edit the registry
(over 200 instances) to remove DLA and RecordNow. :-\

Nice burner though. I like the under 5 minutes burn time a LOT!
