Those newer 7200 RPM and faster drives do use more power than older
ones, and BIR your SFX form factor PS is just 145W.

Just a suggestion (hey, not all of my advice is all bad) - -
If you continue to think you want to go that way, it could save a good
bit of work, and you could leave the cover on the case between drive
toggles if you were to kludge in a DPDT switch to send the +5 and +12
power to either one HDD or the other.  I've seen advertised SFX PS up in
the 180 - 200W range, but cost of those gets on up there.
