Are you referring to the rectangle in the upper left corner with OS/2 next to it? It is not there long enough to do anything. I didn't recall seeing it lately so I booted an AMD 550. On that machine it was there for maybe half a second. On newer machines I mostly never detect it at all. I seem to recall a time when it stayed a while. What I need is a mode that gives me the option of loading or skipping each line. Is that what Alt-F is supposed to do? Is there a counterpart to putting altf2on.$$$ in the boot dir? > That will step through > anything that gets loaded during boot process.
