The rules of logic themselves were once a series of speculations.
However, note the process: only when the set of speculations is a
relatively compleat whole, does the mutual support provide enough
to stand the argument on.

The speculations of Plato and others have been of some use to me,
so that I now have a relatively compleat cosmology which supports
a pretty fair arguement. Like the arguement against creationism,
it requires several interpretations of various aspects, which any
particular characteristic may be rather dubious, but which, taken
togather, form the 'proof'.

Quantum physics requires at least 6 dimensions to adequately have
an explanation for observed phenomena; we already know that three
are needed for a 'physical' object. If a system uses one or more
of these other dimensions, it ceases to be perceptable to systems
constructed only of the standard three.

Plato's escatology required a record or memory of the life lived,
but unlike the Christian, suggested that God did not judge, since
he did not live here, but that those who had been through life on
earth did. Given the inexorable expansion of computer storage of
data, I can visualize a system to do this on a global scale which
does not require galactic amounts of space, time, and energy.

Without this modern capability, Plato's speculation looks to be a
pretty trivial concept; with it, there's a degree of reason which
supports an arguement, which is continued below..-

Damifino. You could be an Avatar, posing questions God wishes to
be asked, so that he can watch us struggle with them. Although I
doubt that.  More likely in my view, is that you too, are a soul;
a bit of consciousness split from God which agreed to take up the
role you have in life. It's this lack of knowlege or connection,
from God, that enables the free will.

To make your *choice* to live a life here, you are shown some few
sceens of the life to be lived, rather like a movie trailer; from
time to time, you may see some of these sceens unfold, a de'jevu,
and suddenly recall everything. To get you from one sceen to the
next requires tinkering with probability, which is why those laws
of Murphy work so well. But still, since it is only probability,
you have some room for free will.

Like Shakespeare said, we're all actors on a stage [holodeck] and
here we strut our stuff. But you can't get off the stage till it
is time for your exit. And, of course, the whole thing is on VCR
type tape in a 6 dimensional cosmos. So, have fun, but do not do
anything you do not want seen later. ;-)
