All the answers are expensive.  If we plant grass we have to water that
and kill gophers, or try to, ground rubber is about the cheapest and the
easiest to maintain but needing it for 5 arenas, 2 of them pretty big
its still expensive.
Its finally cooled down here.  I'm wearing long sleeves even in the
afternoon and the horses have quit sweating when just standing in their
stalls.  This means that we can ride at something more than a walk
finally.
