Hi Arnold,
We did the Monorail up front at Disneyland also, with no lisence, alas.
But the driver was extremely friendly and even let our three year old sit
on his lap while driving.
Another thrill that trip was steering the Mark Twain.  Just about all we
had to do was ask.  If there were no VIPs or birthday requests scheduled,
they were happy to accomodate us.  We thought we would get a quick trip
up to the Pilot House and that would be it, but we got to steer her thru
the entire voyage around the Rivers of America and toot that wonderful
horn.  We did get honorary lisences for that one, which we have framed:)
