The states a lot more liberal than here in the UK.
Do you think so? I was of the impression that they worried about the
  laws :)
Yes they do appear to worry about what they listen to, I thought
they had the Constitution and the freedom of information act, and
could listen to what they wanted, maybe I'm wrong, or else someone
will come along and put us right.
All the folks I know that have scanners couldn't really care
  less what they tune into
I don't know how I'd feel about walking through the streets using a
scanner though, usually use mine in the home or in the car,

True. I bet you have them programmed into your scanner though? .
Hey you're more accurate than Mystic Meg, how did you know that,
for all those overseas Mystic Meg predicts the type of person who
will win the national lottery on a Saturday, she covers such a
broad range some of her predictions must come true.
The North Yorkshire Police, next county, have stated if they
aprehend anyone with a scanner and find it's programed for the police
frequencys they will prosecute.
I am only using a portable aerial plugged into the back of the set at
the moment but I hope to buy one of those witches hats from Tandy,
  around fifty quid.
I've got a five foot aerial with a ground plane, supposed to be 70
to 1200 megs or there abouts, just want someone to put it on the
chimmney stack.
  I'm in Alexandria, Dunbartonshire, Scotland.
It's about 2 miles from Loch Lomond, about 15 miles from Glasgow and
approximately 8000 miles from the Falkland Ilsands .
I would think you're OK for Glasgow Airport, round here we have
Humberside Airport, Hull Docks, the North Sea and the Royal Air
Force Air Sea Rescue, so theres quite a bit to listen to.
Loch Lomond, only been once, went to Glasgow with work and visited a
friend we made on holiday who lives in Glasgow, on the night we
went for a drive round Loch Lomond, I can see why people go there
for holidays though. We stopped at a place she said was called Rest
and be Thankfull, I thought it was just a local name but when I got
home I looked at the map and it was a real place name
It would be good to see more messages involving the UK.
Must agree with you on that
Catch you again
