They want 57 bucks rrp for that card (2 serial) and you still can't
set IRQs to other than 3/4???
I need a 2 serial port card that'll be able to be set to IRQ2 and 5
*by the end of the week*. If I have to hack it then so be it, but I
would have though that $57 would buy a decent serial card for christ
sake!
Rod Irving have this stuff for about $30 so I thought the microgram
one would be a "propper" one! (I DON'T need 16550s, and I assume
the one in Microgram was standard UARTs too.) As for hacking these
cards to change the IRQs, that's possible if the manufacturer hasn't
been elcheapo and only put bus edge contacts on the pins actually
used. If they do, then one needs to be a little more
non-conventional. ;)
