| subject: | Good week? |
I'm not sure if it has been a good week in politics or not: 1. On Monday, a 747 is spotted flying low over Manhattan being chased by one or or two F-16s, depending on which report you read. People at work in Manhattan high rises look out to see a large plane flying at just above eye level. And if there is no threat, what are the F-16s there for? A good amount of panic ensues. Turns out, the White House was using Air Force one for some sort of photo using New York landmarks. Reporters ask Robert Gibbs, White House spokesman about the incident and the idiot says this: "You'll have to ask the White House about that." This from the press secretary. You'd have to dig deep to find a bigger butt nugget than Robert Gibbs. The topper to this story is that Time Magazine, court jester in Oabama's courtier press, wrote, "Word has not gotten around among Obama's staff that he is not interested in the trappings of power...." So Time takes a monumental blunder on the part of the White House and uses it to praise Obama. The mainstream press is a threat to my liberty. 2. Michelle Obama goes to work at a food bank wearing $550 sneakers. $550. If you saw the picture of them over the weekend you think 1) she paid that much money for THOSE ugly ass things? and 2) what sort of mindless half wit wears shoes that expensive to work at a goddam food bank? 3. People Magazine lists Michelle Obama as one of the most beautiful people. Frankly, I feel like I am swimming in Michelle hagiography as every print organ and broadcast outlet in the mainstream press has declared this overly large, butt ugly woman beautiful. She is not beautiful. Not remotely. 4. Janet Napalitono declares that veterans may pose a terror risk. There is nothing I can add to that except to ask, "How did this brain free-douche nozzle get her job?" 5. At some speaking engagement, Obama's teleprompter displays the wrong information. Then The One, the greatest orator who ever lived, tells aides to get the right information up there so he can go on. "I have already welcomed those people," he said. I recall that Cigar Willy, GW Bush and Sarah Palin were all able to ad lib when their prompters broke. --- Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.3138* Origin: Fidonet Via Newsreader - http://www.easternstar.info (1:123/789.0) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 11/331 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 226/0 236/150 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 SEEN-BY: 320/119 396/45 633/260 267 712/848 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 105 SEEN-BY: 2905/0 @PATH: 123/789 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
