Well here is the message that you have all been holding your breath for!!!! 
The drawing for the QBE for the month of May... 
  The blocks I have received are just beautiful and I want to take a moment 
to describe the hand work of each block I received!!!! They are georgeous... 
and it is very evident that a lot of thought went into each of these 
blocks!!!!
Sylvia Lewis: sent to me a house of plaids!!! the door has a brass door knob. 
 the sky is of soft marblized blues and white...
Pat Knox: made a 2 story house set into a night time dark blue sky... The 
windows of this red house are aglow in a tone on tone gold and accented with 
white tot...
Shauna Charron: sent a block of the nicest plaid farm house... the "yard" is 
a farm yard with a barn and chickens and pigs and flowers... just like the 
chickens that I have that come to visit me every day...  I only hope I can 
make my yard here to look as nice!
Teresa Herman: sends a Red and Green Plaid house, set into a night sky... the 
gray roof and deep green grass that surrounds the well Lit house adds to the 
mystic of the night time sky.
Doris Wills:  Now this is a block that you just want to display all by itself 
or eat it as you would a delicious cholate bar!!! ... Doris created a red 
brick cottage with steps that are blanket stitched. The roses in the front of 
the house are done in ribbon embroidery and the window panes, birds in the 
sky and the sun are all embroideried.
Brenda Burwell: definitly supriesed me with the "animals" in the windows 
looking out of the floral house... A summery house and sights come from this 
very warm and inviting home...
Ladies thank you all for these beautiful blocks....I will treasure the art 
work of each of them for ever I can assure you of that!!!

All the entrants this month have been winners in the past 6 months so I had 
to pull from all of you that sent a block... my friend Sam did the honors and 
chose the winner....
  Shauna I am looking forward to seeing what you choose for the block this 
month...
 I also hope that some of the others here will join in the fun and try you 
hand at some of the Quilt blocks that we are making... it is a lot of fun and 
I for one can tell you that this is definitly the way I got started into the 
world of quilting.... so please don't be afraid to try!!!!
