Similar to the problem I have with a non-ATAPI CD and a SCSI CD.
Whenever I have to re-install Windows, and forget this problem, I put the
CD in the SCSI CD drive, then once Windows gets about 1/4 installed I get
an error message like 'CD not found, install aborted'. Then I get to start
all over with the EBD floppy instead.
What happens in my case is that as soon as Windows installs the ATAPI
driver for the second CD, it changes the drive letter of the SCSI CD and
boom, end of install! Real intelligent! :-((
Wish I had the guts to load Linux! But, getting too old for this dog to
learn new tricks now. :-((
Good luck... M.
