I am far from a GPI expert, but I think to do anything fancy like this you
have to stick with GpiBitBlt(),  preceeded by Gpi calls to set the current
mix mode, colour, and pattern stuff.   If you are really stuck,see if you
can track down an an address for Kelvin Lawrence.  He works for IBM Boca.
