Well, what works here, or the way I do it, Use whatever fdisk or pationing tool you prefer, create a primary partion for WIN98, of the desired size, mark it active/bootable, boot from a WIN98 boot floppy, format the partion, and install WIN98, then create the other partions, and format them, as desired. Then install Linux, use linux fdisk/cfdisk to check what partions you want to install Linux to, then go ahead, and then use lilo to boot between them.
