Well, for a 33.6 connect the telco world has to be practically perfect as I
become to understand it. The bandwidth needed allows for 33.6 and as you've
mentioned with fallback and foward with line conditions, but with an ISP in
that mix, maybe that's a weak link, since it is something extra and it has to
defer to yet another link to pass the data through.

Well, I haven't played yet with the M+ commands to manually determine the
highest and lowest possible connect speeds, maybe I will. For now, I'm on
long enough to at least post some message for do some surfing, but I may
decide to drop it rather than "tweek" all the time. :( -_-_-Bill
