Hi Shaun!
Whos the manufacturer of the intake? And do you know the "name"? (Ie,
Performer, Performer RPM, Tarantula etc)

Gaskets are cheap! Just go to Perrrrrformance Unlimted and pick out a nice
Crane cam... Something on the order of .400" lift (.454" usually) and with
say...oh... 216 degrees of duration at .050. That will wake up that motor
of yours. It is "mild". =-)
I've got something similar in my truck, she hauls butt. (Nose to Nose with a
5.0 Mustang from a dead stop...but only across the intersection, then the
mustang takes over--but I suspect that is due to a few thousand less pounds
being propelled by the 302) =)
What kind of rear gears have you got in your van? If its something on the
order of 3:1, that can affect how your low end response is, especially in
something heavier like a truck or van.
See ya on the Streets.
