I would like to know if anyone might know anything about a bell I bought at
a garage sale. It is bronze it think, about 9 inches tall, heavy and ornate.
It is on a bronze mount that attaches to a wall. The bell is rung by pulling
a chain. It is very ornate, with dragon heads and a winged woman. It has
writing on both sides of the bell, though I dont know if it is one sentence
and if it is, I don't know what side is supposed the be read first. Anyone
have a latin dictionary? I think it may be latin...
VOCEM MEAM AUDI
QUI ME TANGIT
If anyone could translate this for me, I would be very happy.
I also have a set of three Milton Bradley Co. anatomy charts for a school,
copyrighted 1886.
