-> TW> Well back to On Line posting at leastr for today. -> Get well organized in OLR, Tom, and get access to Doc's Place. -> This node never has failed. Telnet to it as I do. When I am not on -> full-time connection, I use AOL and then type in the addy for Doc's -> Place and I get it this way. Any ISP will connect you. Wel lactualy both the TelNet and HTML entry off the Internet into DOC's place was down for at least 1/2 a day earlier this week. But I do go in through my ISP. -> I would not be without an OLMR. I am sure in some situations it could be the best way. BUT I believe in "Keeping it Simple Stupid" and a quick dial Up to a local BBS, DO your Thing, and log off works for me. It is just that my local connection is soemwhat less then reliable. In fact the Whoole Southern California Feed has problems more then I feel is necessary. I don't think anyone is minding the store. OF course it is a Thankless Job and we are lucky someone even does it Half Way!! :-) problems. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Shakey Jake's *ALL FREE BBS* Santee, CA (1:202/1324) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 202/1324 10/3 106/2000 633/267 |
