It is called PBS...pre breeding syndrome. You just have to wade thru it till 
it's over and they get back to their loving, playful selves. this usually 
takes 
about 5 months.
After getting bitten mumerous times and feeling like an abondoned mother I 
learned to just give them their space till they wanted human companionship 
again.
I'd gladly trade Jan a baby DYH for that feather picking Nigel that is so 
cranky. Huh, huh, huh?
