Have you tried other medications, such as Cylert or dexadrine?
Highly structured lifestyles seem to help, but everything is a matter of
degree. We've had people who carry daybooks with them constantly and find it
helps; others keep buying them but never remember where they put them. My
son is on Ritalin, and that helps, but he does far better in Jr. ROTC than
any other class and I attribute that to the high degree of structure,
explicit expectations, and immediate feedback that the military style brings
with it.
