Yeah...it _was_ pretty crappy of him to do that. I went through the API, 
and from what I can see...you need to open WHOSON.DAT in "Binary" mode.
 
(I didn't mean to open up an "ugly can of worms"...I just wanted to be 
sure you had no ill-feelings toward _me_.)
