That's right, it is read-only. I don't know what the rules are, and I
didn't want to investigate too thoroughly. If you see a rule posted in
favour of free-for-all, pass it on to me.

Have a look at your QWK packet. You mustn't have put in the
"To:" bit. That last 2-part message to him got a destination of
3:711/934 instead of whatever you wanted.
