Hello all!
THe stock find bundled with ms dos is nice in some aspects, it gives you an
errorlevel if the search string was found. fOr counting occurrences it's
also handy. BUt ...
THe line numbers in brackets are a pita to get rid of, even using chg.com
or other search/replace utilities it seems.
so, the question is who likes what for a drop-in command line replacement
for the ms dos find. Iirc there were a couple in my old bfds archives back
in the day.
Regards,
Richard
