Correct.  There is a big difference between how full adults and kids (up
to 19) are handled when they commit adult crimes.  Too many people try
to say, "They are only children."  There are too many people like the
one above that cannot see teenagers accepting responsibility for their
own actions.

When the sh*t hits the fan, you are absolutely right when you the only
thing between your family and harm, that is what you must do.
