Also making the MONO rather than Stereo will reduce their size by 1/2 as well. You might want to try converting some Wave File to different Bit Rates to see how "lossie" of conversion you can manage to live with... If you can not find a program that will read MP3's and write them at another Bit Rate, you will need to convert the MP3's to Waves, (or some other Standard, uncompressed format) then re-compress them with LAME or some other MP3 Compresser (I personnaly like LAME http://lame.sourceforge.net/>, and it is avalible for Win32 and OS/2) You could try another Coding as well, like Ogg Vorbis http://www.vorbis.com/>, also avalible for Win32 and OS/2.
