Hello Jim !
JH> Hee. I remember back when getting started, DOS, MSWORKS, Win3.x,
JH> Lotus, WordPerfect, etc. all came with HUGE (and rather intimidating)
JH> manuals. Nowadays the manual and/or helpfiles are on the CD disc.
JH> But I often miss those big manuals. Mousing around the helpfiles to
JH> try and find info can be a chore, and often hard to find the answer
JH> being sought. (YMMV)
I am with you. The IBM Recovery & Restore PRG come with their
manual. Tome 1 to install and Tome 2 to use. The first one is 490
pages and the last one is 578 pages, all in .pdf. Thankfully, the
index is very well done and a Ctrl-Shift-N will take the page you
seek. One has to add to the page number the total of the I, II, III
pages at the front. Some of them have > 25 extra pages to account
for. Will I print them ? Maybe later as I am not really into
"on-screen" reading.
Just got a FROPA here. Heavy rain and howling winds.
Who is this DC> anyway ?
