Hello Ross.

01 Aug 04 13:20, you wrote to me:

Maybe because I do not like being told that "I do not know
technology" or "have not been in Fidonet long enough" when I
do and I have by people who always claim I do not know what I am talking
about. It is refreshing to see a clear instance of intent spelled out to
leave no ambiguity. Is this the same style of reading some of you have
been using on policy within the last year? It might explain the friction
that has been found in recent months. Selective reading or selective
understanding? I would really like to know ..

Your bias is showing, Ross. You crawl back out of the woodwork to defend
and suck up to anyone who downlinks from you completely overlooking
anything that they do which may be offensive to others. Just like old
times ..

 RC> Good Program Matt!

Fidonet is not going to get very far with people like Robert (maybe even
you) at the helm. The ones who truely do not understand technology or have
not been around long enough; who draw lines of agreement based on politics.
Instead of automatically telling everyone else they are wrong and that
they are ignorant, a better response might have been, "I believe you
are wrong but I will check."

So, Ross, did you know what the MN flag was really used for or did you
assume Robert's claim to automatically be true. You read my reply so
obviously you read his messages about the subject. If you knew he may have
been wrong why did you not correct him? Unless you too did not know its
intended usage?

Matt
